Lab 01 — Call for Expert Spokes (Members or Contributors)

What the call was for

Lab 01 — the Verification & Trust Lab — measures the verification tax in enterprise GenAI use: the human time spent verifying, correcting, and approving AI output, and whether it cancels out the time GenAI saves in generation. This call recruited the domain Spokes who design the research instruments and grade the output.

Who we recruited

Senior business professionals across four functional domains — Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Project Management — each with practical experience applying GenAI in their daily workflows. Spoke responsibilities were bounded to five activities: mapping baseline Level 1 use cases, running a domain practice scan, interview managers from partner companies, and acting as their liaison, grading Layer A output blind and translating findings into a domain recommendation brief.

What Spokes received

Named credit on the OSF pre-registration and on every Lab 01 publication when contributed; a place in the inter-rater reliability calibration and the methodology of a pre-registered, double-blind study; a membership-fee discount for active Lab contribution (for expert members only).

The standard

Lab 01 is pre-registered on the Open Science Framework, double-blind throughout, and committed to full replication materials on publication. Effect sizes are reported for all results; every publication carries a dedicated limitations section. This is the methodological baseline every EBTHub Lab inherits.
