§1 Scope and Applicability
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website ebthub.com and all associated subdomains (the “Website”), operated by the European Business Transformation Hub (“EBTHub”), a non-profit association (Verein) established under Austrian law.
By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
These Terms apply exclusively to the use of the Website. They do not govern the membership relationship, which is subject to a separate membership agreement, nor do they replace any NDA, Code of Conduct, or other contractual arrangements between EBTHub and its members, experts, or partner companies.
§2 Operator
This Website is operated by the European Business Transformation Hub (EBTHub), a non-profit association (Verein) established in Vienna, Austria. For full operator details as required by §5 E-Commerce-Gesetz (ECG) and §25 Vereinsgesetz, please refer to our Imprint page.
§3 Intellectual Property and Copyright
All content on this Website — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, the EBTHub brand identity (Michroma, Blanka typefaces, colour system), research summaries, framework descriptions, visualisations, and downloadable documents — is the intellectual property of EBTHub or its contributing experts and is protected under Austrian copyright law (Urheberrechtsgesetz / UrhG) and applicable EU directives.
3.1 Permitted Use
You may view, download, and print pages from this Website for your own personal, non-commercial use, provided you do not modify the content and retain all copyright and proprietary notices.
3.2 Prohibited Use
Without prior written consent from EBTHub, you may not: reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works based on Website content; use Website content for commercial purposes; frame or mirror any part of the Website; or use automated tools (scrapers, bots) to extract content from the Website.
3.3 Research Publications
Summaries, excerpts, or descriptions of EBTHub research findings published on the Website are provided for informational purposes. Full research papers, replication materials, and proprietary instruments (including but not limited to the GenAI Verification ROI Calculator, Quality Matrix, and Trust Diagnostic) remain the property of EBTHub and its contributing experts under the IP model described in EBTHub’s Statutes (§12).
§4 Disclaimer of Warranties
The Website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
4.1 No Professional Advice
Nothing on this Website constitutes legal, financial, tax, investment, or professional consulting advice. Research findings, framework descriptions, and Lab outputs presented on the Website are the result of academic research and are intended for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute recommendations for specific business decisions.
4.2 Accuracy
While EBTHub strives to keep Website content accurate and up to date, we make no warranties regarding completeness, accuracy, reliability, or suitability of the information. Research findings are subject to the limitations disclosed in the respective publications.
4.3 Availability
EBTHub does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Website. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Website (or any part of it) at any time without notice.
§5 Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Austrian law:
1. EBTHub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Website.
2. EBTHub’s total liability for direct damages shall not exceed the amount of EUR 100.
3. This limitation does not apply to damages caused by wilful misconduct (Vorsatz) or gross negligence (grobe Fahrlässigkeit) on the part of EBTHub, in accordance with §1298 ABGB (Austrian Civil Code).
The liability regime follows §§1295 ff. ABGB. For consumers as defined by §1 Konsumentenschutzgesetz (KSchG), mandatory consumer protection provisions remain unaffected.

The Website may contain links to third-party websites (including but not limited to OSF, SSRN, Zenodo, Google, conference platforms, and partner company websites). These links are provided for convenience only.
EBTHub has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party website. Linking does not imply endorsement. You access external sites at your own risk.
§7 User Conduct
When using the Website, you agree not to:
1. Use the Website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
2. Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Website, its servers, or any systems connected to the Website.
3. Interfere with or disrupt the Website or servers or networks connected to the Website.
4. Use automated tools, scripts, or bots to access or scrape Website content without prior written permission.
5. Impersonate EBTHub, its members, or its experts, or misrepresent your affiliation with EBTHub.
§8 Data Protection
Our processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Notice (EU/EEA), available on the Website. The Privacy Notice forms an integral part of these Terms to the extent it describes how we handle data collected through the Website.
§9 Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Austria, excluding its conflict-of-law provisions and excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Vienna, Austria.
For consumers within the meaning of §1 KSchG, the mandatory jurisdictional rules of §14 KSchG apply (i.e., suit at the consumer’s domicile). Consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
§10 Severability
Should any provision of these Terms be or become invalid, unenforceable, or void, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that most closely achieves the economic purpose of the invalid provision (§878 ABGB analog).
§11 Amendments
EBTHub reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. The amended Terms will be posted on the Website with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Website after the publication of amended Terms constitutes acceptance of the changes.
